The person that the husband killed via accidental discharge has a strong juju family who went ahead and "ro the oku" yoruba put jazz on the dead person to avenge death. Then husband dies. Then maybe all the curses Nigerians have cursed husband based on bribes he received got ripple effects sometimes people curse their generation. You dont know what pain the police officer have caused several tanker driver, danfo driver, regular citizens.

Note that it was stated that he was arrested because of accidental discharge. Who knows what kind of accidental discharge and who he accidentally discharged to grave beyond and the reason why he was detained. Accidental discharge must have lead to someone's death.

I don't wish them evil but considering the Nigerian Police Force, payment of entitlements has always been an issue.

That notwithstanding, their mother should have endured instead of commuting suicide. They may eat better meals as orphans but then.....
