The first FIFA rankings for the year 2016 has been released with the Super Eagles of Nigeria retaining their position but wouldn’t be too happy the likes of UAE and Uganda went above them. Super Eagles The Super Eagles are still in 66th position but have dropped places in the African rankings. The team is ranked 14th in Africa and 66th in the world while the women’s team; the Super Falcons are ranked 37th in the world and first in Africa. The Super Eagles did not play any match in December which was the basis for the latest rankings.
