Fuel Pump Price: Aba Oil Marketers Still Selling At N140 Per Litre by mrBN: 12:13pm On Jan 09, 2016 |
Despite that Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC) has warned that every filling station in the country should be selling at the price of N85 per litre, but filling stations in Aba, Abia State are still selling at the price of N135-140 per litre. The order was given by President Muhammadu Buhari last week ago, according to him, since Nigeria refineries have started producing at least 10 million per day that Nigeria has a more fuel to be selling at N85 per litre. Despite all the warning, oil marketers in Aba, are still selling at the price of N135-140 per litre which the federal government prohibited. May God Help us! OP, the first question is HOW MUCH ARE THE MARKETERS GETTING THEIR PRODUCT? Even, TONIMAS that sold @120 the other, see rushing. Mind you that TONIMAS is one of the big marketers in Aba and it's environs. Apart from Forte Oil at Express and Ogbor Hills, I doubt there is any other marketer that sells at the new pump price. And even at that you have to buy their Oil before they sell above #2000 worth of fuel to you. |

One would think Igbo fuel marketers will be selling fuel for even N50 in Aba since this is a Biafran territory - Biafran selling fuel to Biafrians. There is no where in Nigeria fuel is selling at this outrageous price. All filling stations are buying from the same source - how do they justify this N140 per liter? This is a pointer to what these people will do to themselves if given their own country. |
