I often consult the respected PEW research group to cite statistically data especially as it relates to Islam.

But after seeing some poorly done research especially their forecasts, I stopped taking them serious.
Eg the forecast that Islam will be the fastest growing religion by 2050.
There are many evidences that disprove this eg the growing number of exmuslims and atheists coming out of the muslim world in record numbers, people getting disillusioned with Islam because of its proclivity for terrorism, The disintegration of the middle east etc..

But this takes the cake. How can 6% of nigerian Christians support view ISIS favourably. Its absurb.

What's your take on this ?

Hahahahaha! It's now getting obvious that PEW research are always getting it twisted. Their projections on the growth of islam flys against the reality on ground today. On the 7% alleged claim of christians in favour of isis, the respondents could actually be al taquiya muslims lying for islam as usual after all we have muslim NL members here who claim boko haram and isis are christians pretending to be muslims despite the fact that they know they are lying.

Annunaki u made a good point, if they indeed passed questionaires it is possible al taqiyya using Muslims claimed to be Christians and caused that absurd result.

For example when boko haram were killing policemen and bombing churches, many muslims defended them.
Some even printed shirits with the Slogan "I rep bh". But when they started bombing mosques muslims started saying it was jonathans government sponsoring them.

Deceit is a common practice.
