~~~~~~~~~~~ to be using MORGAN CAPITAL STOCK BROKER could be frustrating if you're active with your account, AT THIS BEARISH SEASON OF THE NIGERIAN STOCK MARKET, MORGAN CAPITAL STOCK BROKER IS NOW DEFRAUDING investors by deducting FIVE THOUSAND naira from individual account,claiming there was a reversal of year 2015 charges in October which caused the over-charges in January 2016.over TWENTY INVESTORS THAT I KNOW HAD COMPLAINED THAT SUCH REVERSED #2,500 HAS NOT SHOWN ON THE ACCOUNT BALANCE. emails posted to Morgan capital broker by investors were not replied after they realized that their clients were not confused by their abracadabra.......

. the same thing happened to the accounts I've with them. they're not replying my mails since I promise to take it up. the so called, erroneously reversed #2,500 has not shown on the BALANCE and also, the statement of account of their clients were edited from their end.

I'm sorry to say this. Morgan is a fraudulent company. How can you edit account statements of your clients without communicating to them. I was debited Jan,2015. Now I can't find that in the statements. It has been removed. They probably thought we don't keep personal records of our own. Imagine deducting even 2500 naira from all clients without their knowledge. The so called reversal didn't reflect in my statement either. I am highly disappointed. One has to be very vigilant with this broker.

N2500 annual fee is not too much considering the low brokerage and good platform provided for trading. It's the abracadabra that was done that I find disturbing. My account was debited Jan 2015, the so called system glitch in October did not credit my account with same. Now Jan 2016 , you deduct N5000. Who does that? What stops the firm from deducting N1000 from your account every now and then without you knowing, since they can alter your statement? Reminds me of a banking fraud where $1 was debited from client's customers' accounts over a long period. Very difficult to detect. Like I said, I'm sorry they just breached my trust.

There was a system glitch in Oct 2015 which caused a reversal of the 2015 online annual access charges. This was rectified yesterday and the charges for 2015 and 2016 were posted, hence the reduction in the amount paid.

My brother it's thesame explanation they offered me. I complained that I was not in anyway informed about the reversal of 2015 annual fee and I have no knowledge of it. I have demanded for empirical evidence concerning this issue since yesterday but as I type now they have not replied me.

Exactly what i explained to the staff when i called...I had all my money in the stock market and didnt see any free N2,500 in oct...The account sent to me was not appropriate as i saw Oct 2015 (2,500) in between April and may in the account statement. I dont know how but oga yemo should give a valid/ better explanation on this.

If I may ask.., why would there be a reversal in October last year and there will wait it till January this year before deducting it back? Which financial institution does that?
Also why was there no notice to customers?
Why was it erased from customers statement?
Lots of questions to ask and at the end there will only defend themselves.
My account was deducted early last year when after filling e bonus form. When I asked I was told it was told I can now get my bonus in my account directly yet FBNH bonus was credit to my CSCS acct but I still don't see it in my Morgan account.

Actually, I was surprised the way d tin went tru. The system was wrongly programmed and dis reflected in all clients acct. I checked my acct 2day to confirm if I was actually credited in oct but it was false.
Nevertheless, I have notified the staff in-charge of acct abt this. I will also inform the CEO
All ur comments will be sent to him by me sodat he will knw wat it is as stake.

There was a staff (with required access control to make reversals) that tried to make a reversal of a double posting into a client account on 15th Oct., 2015. He inadvertently clicked and reversed the auto-posted annual charge that was posted on 1st Jan 2015 and this reversed ALL annual charges out of ALL clients accounts who had account with us as at 1st Jan 2015, which was the effective date of that posting.

When this error was noticed during routine reconciliations, a new auto-posting was made on 12th Jan 2016 with effective date of 1st Jan 2015 as necessary. However, this new entry debited ALL clients who have account with us as at 12th Jan, 2016. This effectively means that all clients that opened their account with us from 2nd Jan 2015 - 12 Jan 2016 would have been affected by a double posting of annual charges for 2015 because they weren't affected by the reversal error.

In correcting this for the clients affected (that is: those that opened account btw 2nd Jan 2015 - 12 Jan 2016) we can't make a simple auto-posting to correct this error (this would generate postings across all clients including those not affected), so we have to post individually a reversal into these affected accounts and this process started on the 13th Jan, 2016 and we expect it to be finalized by 22nd Jan 2016. Some clients affected might have seen these reversal postings, but all should see it by 23rd Jan 2016.

To further proof this was the case, if anybody has a friend who opened account with us before 1st January, 2015 ask him or her and he would tell you there was indeed a reversal of the 2015 annual charges which was then reposted on 15th Oct 2015. This was why the narration of the posting was clearly stated. Nobody commits fraud by stating clearly a narration like what was stated on the 15th Oct, 2015.

We are indeed very sorry for the late explanation and the inconvenience this must have caused you.

IT means, you charge annual charges fee singularly on individual's account which enabled a member of staff to've made double posting on A CLIENT'S ACCOUNT ON 15 Jan., 2015.

I opened my 2 accounts in 2013 and I was affected by DOUBLE POSTING. WHY?? and was not affected by the so called #2,500 reversal error.

IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE "AUTO POST" TO CORRECT THE DOUBLE POSTING,WHY, WOULD AUTO POST REVERSAL AFFECTED THE SAID A/C HOLDER FROM 2 JAN 2015 TO 12 JAN. 2016. meaning the mistakenly clicked (auto posting) affected all clients.

********* WHY was a mail of fabricated statement of account further sent to clients to confuse them to the abracadabra.

Let me state categorically that I am not a staff nor a friend nor family with any staff nor the ceo of morgan. I am just a client.
I contacted the ceo on whatsapp yesterday night. He replied me dis morning. What I did was to copy and paste the exact reply he gave me on whatsapp.
Since it was his reply, I av to put him as the remark to show the statement was directly from him not me. I can't claim a statement that do not originate from me.
If u have his contact, you may confirm from him if the statement originate from me.
if u av his number, contact him on whatsapp, he will reply you.

Like I said before on the other thread it's like you are part of Morgan family.. but the truth remains that if you have any genuine way to prove it you would have done it but instead you guys keep looking for ways to confuse /convince us to accept it that. It will not work.

Oga Stock bull we are with you all the way. Collectively we will stand together till our money is refunded. Henceforth we will resist any attempt by Morgan to divert out funds kept with them in trust.

All i know is that mountains should not be made out mole hill. I was angry when i first noticed, i called them they explained. i was not satisfied. i printed my statement from inception till date,balanced everything. And I was happy. you can do the same

any one that reads it would think you're the CEO . there's nothing wrong to've posted it and you know, you've always been representing Morgan on NSEMPA,you give insider information,you tell investors in the forum the plans or activities of MORGAN CAPITAL..... EVEN WHEN NONE OF THE MEMBERS OF STAFF COULD EXPLAIN WHAT WENT WRONG, AND THE CEO OF MORGAN REFUSED TO REPLY MAILS SENT TO HIM FOR INQUIRIES,you sent whatsapp message and the CEO TOOK HIS PRECIOUS TIME TO WRITE SUCH VOLUME OF POST to reply you. in those when I give options of stock brokers to investors,I have a way of protecting my personalities ,even this Morgan stock broker. thanks bro,one love.

my brother, you don't need to worry about big ass,initially she said nothing went wrong with the double posting,that, people were only lazy to observe their statement of account but thank GOD a message from the CEO SHOWED SOMETHING WENT WRONG INDEED AND THEY PLEDGE TO RECTIFY IT. also, over twenty investors that complained on NSEMPA were not lazy as she wrongly said.

I posted two things. One was a obviously a Joke talking like the old me who loves to put emotions in stuffs. the other was the real thing. I didnt call anybody lazy

Morgan capita is not fraudulent. There was a system error that credited clients their annual fees. Normal companies will communicate a detailed explanation to their clients before the new deductions.

If you have time go through your statement. It will balance out. No extra deduction

This is really uncalled for. Posting errors are not uncommon and they are internal issues which would be rectified internally or their auditors/internal control would flag it..

Why not wait for the rectification deadline as stipulated by the MD to pass before writing all these stories?

Why will the MD send the mail to only one customer when it affected all the customers. In the mail sent generally to customers by Morayo when we first complained they claimed the deduction they made in October was reversed and so they had to deduct again.
So it is called for. You may not know that some of us deposit as little as 5k sometimes which is supposed to be our savings there for investment. If Morgan continue that way I don't think I will have a dime with them after their deductions. So anything to geared toward correcting their misbehavior is necessary.

I just checked my account statement now and discover that it has been doctored but my extra N2500 was not refunded. I opened my account in 2013 . I am patiently waiting for 23rd to come.

No they have'nt but instead they doctored the statement to suit their claim. If you check you will not see the double deduction in January again but if you know your balance when it happened, you will see that they adjusted the statement in order for their fraud to stand.
