What is rule of law?
The "Rule of Law" that totally disappeared during GEJ administration suddenly appears to disrupt the necessary Change Nigeria badly needs to bring back the lost glory

"Don't Fear the Change, Fear the Future- President Barack Obama. #SOTU2016 .
Nigerians did not vote for PMB for him to become a democrat. .
Nigerians did not vote for PMB for him to keep quiet while Nigeria fall apart.
Nigerian's voted PMB for him to rescue Nigeria.
Nigerian's were witnesses to the corruption and rot in government for the decade leading up to the 'Change' movement.
Nigerian's were witnesses to the needless and unacceptable loss of life and insecurity that corruption brought.
Nigerian's wants and demand a better social, economic, financial life. That is why they voted for PMB.
PMB should be wary about these attempts to squeeze the 'democrat' out of him. It is all strategy to cripple progress.
Thieves and corrupt politicians buy judges with stolen cash today in Nigeria.
PMB should move decisively against corrupt people irrespective of what corrupt judges say or do in their courts.
If it is true that Dasuki stole and/or distributed $2.1Billion security funds, definitely Dasuki has committed a treasonable offence against the nation, and no responsible court should EVER grant him bail.
PMB must work to prevent corrupt people from acting as compromised instruments for frustrating our collective desire for justice and restitution.
In Egypt, the courts did not grant a visibly sick ex-president Mubarak any bail, rather he was wheeled into court on his sick bed. That sent a message that your crimes will catch up with you no matter your status or health condition.
Let Dasuki and every other bloated suspect endure the healthcare system that their greed created. No more foreign medical tours for crime suspects.
PMB must stand his ground against these 419-Judges, “Enough Is Enough”.
Millions of Nigerians are doing a rethink about the Buhari's government. We do not like this seductive but ineffective 'democrat' garb.
By now, FANI Kayode should be calling his teenage wife for his high value meals from a DSS cell (as he nurses the consequences of the reckless and irresponsible statements that threatened the unity and peace of the Nation)
AYO FAYOSE, the foul loudmouth, should be well out of office, in some remote village, nursing his vulgarity and emptiness.
By now, half of our stolen-funds, should have been redeemed from this thieves.
After decades of being robbed and rendered victims of a nation in 'arrested development', few Nigerians give a damn about how our stolen funds is recovered. We just want our money back.
By now, the rascals that destroyed PDP should have been shown the way out of Nigerian politics and a new breed of responsible politicians allowed to form the new PDP. Certainly, none of these thieves should have the audacity, so rampantly displayed, to penetrate an APC that should be growth focussed.
PMB, your fellow Nigerians know that you can CHANGE things for the better in Nigeria today if you really put your mind to it.
RULE OF LAW IN NIGERIA: Suddenly, they know the principle of Rule of Law.
Where were these constitutional and human rights lawyers when -
(1) Fayose entered courtroom and beat up a judge, these guys didn’t remember Aristotle or A.V Dicey essays on Rule of Law. No, there was no Rule of Law.
(2) When Obanikoro threatened a military General, rigged an election (all caught on tape), and was compensated with ministerial post, these guys didn't remember Rule of Law.
(3) When a sitting Governor and Speaker of House of Representatives plane was grounded on "Orders from above", wailers didn't remember any book called Law.
(4) When Amaechi was prevented from entering Government House Port Harcourt as a sitting Governor by a weak Police CP Mbu, they didn't remember Rule of Law existed.
(5) When Tambuwal was denied access into the National Assembly and his security details detached from him, Rule of law wailers never existed,
(6). When 5 out of 32 Rivers law makers sat and "impeached" the Speaker, these "Rule of Law" guys were nowhere to be found.
However, now that President Buhari is after the thieves who bled Nigeria dry and the wicked Dasuki gang that were so heartless as to make our soldiers go to war with no weapons and ended up being slaughtered by Boko Haram, these so-called lawyers and activist are now shamelessly irritating PMB by labelling him undemocratic.
PMB stance on the Kanu issue is best understood from the security perspective.
These irresponsible lawyers and human rights activists are talking from both sides of their mouth. Nigerians DO NOT need to be lectured about Rule of Law.
My simple advice to these confused lawyers and human rights activist is for them to take that lecture to USA/Britain/France.
Where were you guys when they invaded Iraq against UN laws, Libya and the latest Syria? How about Guantanamo Bay where people are detained without trial?
We want our money back, and President Buhari has our support to use whatever means necessary to get our money back! How he does it again is immaterial,
Under this new PMB government, “YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR EXCEPT THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS”.
Are we quick to forget on February 19 2011 when Olisa Metuh beat up a 67 year old Vice Principal for confiscating his son's phone in school:
The Vice-Principal of British Nigerian Academy, Prince & Princess Estate, Abuja, Mr. Kola Pele, 67, has taught in numerous schools and nurtured many pupils.
He was going about his duty on a BNA visiting day when the National Vice-Chairman (South-East), Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Olisa Metuh, invaded the school with his wife, policemen as well as aides and allegedly assaulted him and other teachers for confiscating his son’s GSM phone.
Metuh, a lawyer turned politician, allegedly held Pele by the throat and reportedly ordered an aide to put him in his car boot, saying “No police IG or SSS can secure his release.” - culled from Punch
Now this same Metuh is reported to have torn and tried to swallow his own written confession while in EFCC custody (a crime of destroying government property) and some are asking he be realesed because of "rule of law". Did he grant the teacher "rule of law"?
When are we going to stop this Hypocrisy? The government should just ignore the noisemakers, lock who you need to lock and deal with who you need to deal with. They don't play by the rules either, METUH IS A LAWYER at least he should know better. If the law must assist you must have assisted the law.
Mr President we don't want rule of law now, please recover our money.

OP, if you want to live in a Nigeria where a president acts like a dictator and openly defied the rule of law then that's fine. However, what you should ask the rest of the ethnic nationalities is if they too want to live in that type of Nigeria. You have to remember that the Yoruba/Hausa/Igbo man are not Nigerians out of free choice but by the will of the British. So, if you feel Buharis approach is the best, start asking the rest of us what we want. Buhari and Nigeria, or maybe we want something entirely different from the two?

Where was rule of law during the looting, most of them never denied looting. Dasuki the cheerful giver never denied trading the lives of our soldiers for an unknown favour. If a security adviser don't have any sense of patriotism and he is holding this kind of position then then I would suggest JEG himself would have to be hanged.

(1) if fasoye has beaten up a judge under Gej & the judge didnt know wat to do,it means the judge doesnt know his right from his left.
(2)u call obanikoro case 'threatened' tht means it was only a said word & didnt do more than tht coz if he had touched the military guy,the guy would have dealt with him.
(3)Ameachi was having issues with state house of assemply & state judiary.
(4)Tambuwal aides were reinstated
(5)Rivers state house of assembly were in faction during amaechi regime & amaechi even dissolved a parastal as big as the state judiciary & it didnt go down well with the ppl of rivers state,,infact, rivers state was in shamboos at the later stage of amaechi regime...
Finally,we dont need a military rule desguising as democracy,,let pmb obey the judiciary & moreover, all the so called corrupt ppl could be granted bail,at same time their international passport confiscated& also put under 24 hours surveilance

After nemesis caught up with them, first thing they do is shout "witch hunt" breach of rule of law, "this is not democracy, all sort of grammars.

The gullible ones would not even think about the effect of every penny stolen on average citizens. It's so sad how we celebrate our treasury looters.

If what pmb is doing, is wrong, take a bold step to ask him to resign, cuz if you are not guilty, you have no right to be afraid.

This is madnest @ the highest level a society where there is no rule of law and the people in that society are calling for change, there is bound to be impunity all over the place, this is the reason why the president has been disobeying court order and EFCC on the other hand sealing up people's properties without necessarily allowing the court judgement to prevail or better still find dem guilty, dis is no military regime, change is wat all of us need, but that change should come through the right channel.

People who stole in the market just to put food in their belly are being lynched every day in this country and i can't remember were we heard the wailing about the rule of law.
But it is noble and divine for those who stole billions to hide under the rule of law grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Baba should take note that when he is through with looters, Nigerians will like him to beam his search lights on the so called judiciary as its now glaring that the so called judiciary is actually the mother and baby sitter of corruption in this country.

[/s] Trash!!
