Chelsea took on Everton today in the Barclays Premier League at Stamford Bridge as they held off the hungry-Everton team from getting the 3-points they needed to be among the top ten teams on the Premier League table.

This was a very entertaining 90-minutes of football as both teams were completely score-less in the first half of the match but early in the second half things started to erupt quickly. Five minutes into the second-half of the match, Chelsea's captain, John Terry scored an own goal as the cross from Leighton Baines was deflected into the net. Six minutes after Terry's own-goal, Kevin Mirallas doubled Everton's lead, with a powerful turn-around strike after Baines came up with another impressive cross once again.

Just like Everton had done minutes when the second half of the match started, Chelsea came back with two goals within two minutes each from the Spanish team mates Diego Coasta and Cesc Fabregas, to tie up the game.

Early into the 90th minute, Everton's defender Ramiro Funes Mori put his team back on top with an acrobatic kick, sending the ball completely to the opposite side of the net and away from Thibaut Courtois. Everton fans celebrated so hard that Mori had to physically join them in the celebration by jumping into the crowded fans, which eventually got him a yellow card.

With everyone thinking the match was virtually over and Everton had beaten Chelsea in their home, that thought was put to an immediate halt as John Terry scores once again but this time it was in the right net and at the perfect time with a stunning back-heel. John Terry was off-side but the assistant referees were unable to detect it. Coupled with the 'off-side goal', the entire Everton team was pissed because the referee didn't end the match even after the extra stoppage time was past due.
