Only Death Can Stop Dasuki From Going To Jail – APC Chieftain by Riskymoblordz: 4:30pm On Jan 17, 2016 |
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji
Umar Gana has asserted that former National Security
Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki will go to jail despite being
almost related to President Muhammadu Buhari. He says
this shows that the president’s war against corruption is not
selective.
“You could see Sambo Dasuki’s case. Do you know that he is
almost related to Sambo Dasuki? But is Sambo not in Kuje
Prison? And he is going to jail; nobody can stop him from
going to jail, unless he drops dead,” Gana told Thisday in an
interview.
“He has to be convicted. I am yet to see that judge that will
say that Sambo Dasuki is free from all these,” he stressed.
Gana also reacted to Senator Shehu Sani’s refusal to appear
before the APC disciplinary committee in Kaduna.
“If any senator thinks that he is bigger than the party, then
we will see who is bigger at the end of the day. He has made
unguarded utterances that are highly unbecoming and
outrightly injurious, especially, to our president,” Gana said.
“For him to join the chorus of saying our president is
selective in the war against corruption is highly irresponsible
and I think that statement alone should have entitled the
party to call him to order either by recalling him after all the
process are followed or outrightly dismissing him from the
party.
“He cannot say he will not come because the chairman has
been appointed, and who says that the deputy chairman
cannot act decisively and efficiently, too, within the extant
laws establishing the party?
“Anyway, I will not blame him because he is a new comer,”
Gana concluded.
