Need help on this, today i came across an old tecno phone not android and it has this feature. Was surprised to watch a football match and also watch NTA 9o'clock news. I was wondering if i could get this feature on my android phone. This is my fourth year of being a nairalander so i know an answer or solution will pop up

Yes of course. You can stream NTA news with the NTA news android app. Make sure your YouTube app is functional as well because the official NTA android app uses YouTube in news streaming. You may want to skip the NTA app and use YouTube directly. Other news channels like TVC News and Channels stream their news as well.
Like you know 'streaming' involves internent connection.

However, if what you want is watching local channels without internet connection, bros abeg hala me when you see am. I need am die.

because it has an inbuilt antenna while some uses earphones as antenna.. unlike their Android counterparts..


these can't happen in modern days smart phones because most of the countries these smart phones were produced has free Wi-Fi for live streaming hence MO need for inbuilt stuffs like antennas..

so I think when Nigerians starts to manufacture phones.. then those features might be considered.

Does ur LG Optimus have an in built tv? No. So how then do u wanna watch local channels without an in built TV? Those old tecno phones are bulky because of the in built TV and antenna. Smartphones are slimmer and with wifi enabled u can stream live TV. The world is changing, u need to catch up. U want to watch TV on ur phone? Haba, nt as 'enstranged' as u guys are presuming. I may need to say dat shortly b4 d advent of 'touch screen' phones' most java & d so-called chinko phones then hv what was called 'inbuilt analog tv'. U didnt need to make any subscription, just press d tv icon in d menu & watch ALL your local stations freely. U can even record while watching. There are still tens of them in d market: nt as scarce as u think. (I'll upload some of them later).

On d other hand, every android phone should be able to stream online BUT wt data.

However, we specialise mostly on android tablet pc (7inch & 9.7inch) wt inbuilt analog tv: no need subscription. Watch your local stations FREELY on d go!!! THIS IS OUR IDENTITY ON NAIRALAND.
