From the splendours
Of the homeland
She called,
Inviting me to come,
To sit beside her
And bath in the fountain.
In preparation I reminisced,
Wings of imagination
Flew me to dreamland
Where I lay on tender arms
Of Mother Muse
Swimming in her tender cares,
Engrossed in her counsel.
It is journey time,
Time to answer
Mother’s summon again,
To make journey to hibernation
And consider
Options in the warfare,
Time to renew holiness
And be fortified again.
