KORLAR:

Look at it this way. People running savings account won't be charged. 50 naira is small to anybody that runs a current account. I think.
it says all transactions above 1k. Both savings and current

Please Nairalanders in the financial and legal sectors kindly contribute.

Is this Legal?
Is it Obtainable in the western world?

if the answer to these questions is affirmative, then i see no reason to cry foul. however, if otherwise, i see a turbulent future for the FG.

How will SMEs embrace cashless policy with this.

My hard-earned money! Buhari sango ma pa e and every other person that drew up this policy, especially that short devil, osinbanjo.

With all the numerous deductions gtb already does on my account, these thieves want to add their own.
If this policy is implemented, I will frustrate every effort of this government in the little way I can.

So if I do bank transactions 50 times in a month, it's 50×50=#2500 gone just like that? I've never seen a reasonable government that turns to stealing from the masses to generate income. Continue, I can't wait for 2019

That's what you get for having tinubu and fashola in the leading party, expect more unreasonable taxes soon.#Apcgoverment.

Stamp duty charge? Oh no, not again! Won't these people allow Nigerians to rest? Always diverting and dividing attentions. What time will Nigerians have to fink about there own affairs? What happened to the tax I'm paying? The VAT?

Will CBN deduct #50 twice if I receive money in my account because
I think it will amount to two transactions i.e when sent and when received.

Dont mind the idiotic buhary and his cows sense.

He is scared of going back to increase petrol pump price thats why he resorted to this.

This is a foolish government. They reduced pump price by 50kobo but now charging N50 per deposit.

Why dont they take back the 50kobo and leave our hard earned money alone.

Nigeria is no UK and US, beside they tax according to how well you have earned.
but with this method used by buhari both high and low earners pay same rate which is unfair.
