Do we really need doctors to tell us this i mean we all use the internet here, you can research for yourself, but most na porn dem they look. Well if not all catfish, just the farmed ones, those constricted to a small area.

It's like preventing a man from moving or exercising, he gets fat, those same things apply to fish and theirs is omega 6

Omega - 3 fatty acids containing foods including fish and meat have been reported to be of great benefits to human health and more importantly cardioprotective. However catfish are not bad for consumption

How can u tell a skiny boy like me not to eat cat fish cos it contains too much fatty acid and oil? U don't say we should not eat catfish at all how bawt saying we should minimise d rate at which it is consumed besides everything we eat kills these days. The other time I was watching on CNN that we should not eat 16% percent of red meat a day equavilent to eating two hamburgers. Last week was don't drink garrison cos of lassa fever...abegii

I stopped eating farmed catfish years ago. In fact i have eaten it only on a few occasions. My system just doesn't agree with it. I now know why i had loose bowel movement the few times i took it- i was taking poison. But i eat catfish caught from free flowing waters -those ones are natural and aren't weaned on artificial feeds and chemicals.

Seems dere is an iota of truth in the writeup. I have heard sometin similar to DAT from a friend's doctor sometimes ago. I think d bottom line is not to consume catfish most often as some people are privileged. Even too much of evrytin is bad.

well, if the doctor is making any sense, then home/farm grown chicken will not be an exception, because the same fattening feed is used to grow them. If will continue at this rate, we will end up having nothing more to eat

Op u wrong at least with the little I know, catfish contains same fat content like other fishes as well body of catfish contain slime(protective covering) not fat. Op needs to study more. Also d pics u used was marine catfish not mud catfish we eat regularly in nigeria

hmm bt our fathers didnt eat processed foods,sweetened drinks,lead sedentary lifestyles,inhale toxic gases frm vehilcular emission n industralization coupled with increase in ultrviolet radiation from ozone layer depletion n other ecological damages,and unfortunately for us viruses keep mutating faster than we understand them n yea dey had der share of diseases that werent documented,or otherwise attributed to a curse or something,like abikun...humanity seems doomed anyway...moderation is d key.
