It baffles me how how someone with conscience will wake up and decide to commit this kind of atrocity. 22-year-old pregnant housewife, Aisha Abdullahi, pictured above, was found raped and murdered at her home in Kano yesterday January 20th.

According to Sahara reporters, sources at the Kano state police command say the husband, Abdullahi Mohammed, came back from an outing and met his wife defiled and in a pool of her own blood. The state Police spokesperson, DSP Musa Magaji Majia, while confirming the incident, said a full scaled investigation has been launched by the police.

It will be recalled that two weeks ago two men were charged in a Kano Court for the murder of a housewife. Another case of a murdered housewife was reported in Ungogo Local Government Area (LGA) of Kano State in December of last year as well. The deceased, who was known to be pregnant, was found in a pool of blood when her husband returned home and discovered her body.
