Job Title: Business Manager, Tracking & Technologies (BM T&T)

Job purpose: S/he is the driver of the business, operations management and customer service
activities of the Tracking & Technologies SBU, as well as manage the coy’s IT resources. S/he is responsible to provide strategic direction including but not limited to overall visibility, penetration and leadership for the SBU stability, turnaround and profitability

Location: Lagos

Reporting to: Managing Director / CEO

Key responsibilities:
• Strategic direction of the Tracking & Technology SBU
• Hands-on technical installations and supervision of tracking projects; effective monitoring of client assets, health checks and lead in assets recovery operations
• General company IT resource & related infrastructure management
• Business leadership, including prospecting right segments, proposals creation & submission, follow ups towards the achievement of set sales / revenue deliverables
• Proactively build & maintain positive reputation within the tracking & technologies industry
• Technical and team leadership, including anticipating problems, scenario planning, prompt decisions/effective solutions in order to help a client-friendly and efficient environment
• Be the reliable head and customer-service face of the SBU to clients
• Technical innovation for product / solutions development; Manage new and existing back-end product and other relevant partner relationships with the SBU/company
• Any other related tasks or job deliverables as assigned by the MD/CEO

Qualification & Experience: BSc / HND in Computer Science, or Electrical / Electronics, or in a related technical field with core hands-on IT experience including systems networking, hardware troubleshoot, IP & server management of at least 3years in a start-up / fast paced environment. Relevant experience in business development of technical solutions is mandatory

Required Skills: Appreciable depth, conversant with the industry developments in terms of tracking, IT software and related technologies, and larger motor vehicle / transport sector
• Good knowledge of planning, resourcefulness and project management; conceptual and problem solving, decision making and leadership
• Strong cognition skills, High sense of urgency, attention to detail, team spirit and ability to also delegate tasks effectively
• Great business sense, appreciable writing, communication and presentation skills and ability for strong follow through
