There is nothing we won't see in this world. The beginning of wonders is when goats become graduates from almajiri schools.

Don't be amazed. It is actually a good thing. I don't give a phuck about dogs, but the business and employment the sector generates galvanizes the economy. This is one of the reasons America is great. They create an enabling environment for different kinds of businesses to thrive thereby creating revenue for the government through taxation and employment for it's citizen. It took me a long time to understand this concept. First they create laws protecting that sector, (in this case, don't beat your dogs, cats, snakes, lion, etc) then they inject funds into it to make the sector grow through grants and all that until the sector can stand on it's own two feet. The government doesn't really care about animals but they care about the growth it represents and the taxes it generates for the economy. Americans spent 56 billion dollars on the pet industry last year. 56 billion. Do you you know how many people would have been employed from this alone and how much tax the government would generate? Nigerians really need to start thinking like this if they want to move to the next stage. The problem is Nigerians are very limited in their mentality and experiences which is a big problem. I say again, i don't give a phuck about dogs.

most guide Dog(for blind people), work dogs, search &rescue dog etc graduate from puppy school.
when will Nigeria Kennel include this in their services.
I remember one dog that will bark at every thing,chase lizard,chase chicken,chase okada. to a point okada avoid to ply that route etc but if it pass through this puppy school will behave well,socialize and will have learnt the basic dog command like sit etc

This is my main concern about getting a dog here in Nigeria, I want a good Dog Training School. I see too many badly behaved dogs here and I don't think I can train a dog all by myself. I want a pet that will be sleeping indoors, in a basket or a warm rug, not out in one cage with wooden floors and mosquitoes (then the owners will be declaring they have "pets").

I wish I could post a pic of my SiL, nursing her newborn with her dogs napping beside her innthe bed. Those dogs are so protective of her baby because the Dog Training they got taught them how to accept children and never bark angrily at them or attack. But fear will never let me carry my child near a naija dog (with very little training).

That's mean say the dog don ripe to eat.

With all the graduation ...the dog still dey tied..
