zuchyblink:exactly, not just industries even markets, Anambra has highest number of standard markets in this country, but state government doesn't tax them like other state because majority of them are indigene and to avoid bad name from his people. 7 Likes |

joborskill:i have seen so many of your kind ask questions like which company are in south east? And someone is showing you/those folks the few he know of in anambra and you are blowing fuse. There are so many other companies in other states in south east. states like abia and enugu have a very significant number of industrial layouts also. They are so many factory formerly based in sw west that are now siting/have site factories that are even bigger in South east example the first aluminium can factory in west africa was first constructed in agbara ogun state by gz with capacity of 600 cans per annum and after a larger can factory was constructed by the same gz in aba with capacity of 1.2 billion cans per annum. Similarly, the steel fabrication firm hongxing steel nigeria limited first built their plant in lagos before building a much larger one in aba abia state. I can go on and on even in the brewery industries/pharmacitical industries. What most of you don't know is that it is more viable to site industries in SE/SS than south west oweing to its proximity to a very large untapped market cluster. The eastern nigeria clust as i always call it has a very great potential, look at how cities like port harcourt, aba, onitcha, uyo, calabar, enugu, owerri, umuahia, abakaliki, asaba and many more clustered in an area.It is just a matter of time before most investors realize that the can't compete with the rivals in south east with their investment in lagos. You may start your usuall retorics of "there is no head quarters in south east" well i am bold to tell you that most industries have their head quarter in lagos but with their major manufacturing company outside it. Take a look @ nigerian brewerys, their head office is in lagos but they have their largest factory in enugu. Same thing with pepsi with largest factory in aba 5 Likes 1 Share |

I'm short of words....this is unbelievable and commendable. Igbos need to showcase more of what is happening in the SE otherwise we will continue to swallow the lies that anti-South East media are spewing. OP MYD044 SEUN FT ABEG 5 Likes |

All these pictures shows the southeast is still far behind and they celebrate mediocrity We have so many industries in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and Ondo states but dont have to brag about it. our IGR alone shows what an economic giant we are. This your pics are snapped at the urban areas of anambra whereas industrialization and development is present in all part of Yoruba land wether urban or rural. Proudly Oduduwathese industries are owned 100% by Anambra people and the money stays in Anambra How many of those industries in Ogun,Oyo ,Lagos are owned by yoruba people let's start with that before we narrow it down to state indigenes 1 Like |
