Happened this morning in Kwale Delta state. A woman stripped her 9 years old son, gave him wounds all over and took him to his school to report him to his teachers that the boy stole 5,000 naira from her wallet... Did she do well or not?

What kind of treatment is this?..cos of 5k..useless mother..but that boy needs help sha

She might have gone a bit too far for me, but that might be the best way to teach her kid stealing is a shameful thing at the early stage. What she needs to also do is afterwards explain to the boy in a soft voice how bad it is too steal and probably apologize for treating him that way. The kid need to know it's out of love and a good future for him.

And poster above, even if it was 5#... The child should be scolded.

If the mothers of Sambo Dasuki, Olisa Metuselah, Obanikoro, Bode George, Bafarawa, the Inffectual Buffon and and other national and international thieves have done this, maybe Nigeria would not have been in the mess we are in today. obviously she went to an extreme but that doesn't make her a useless mother. A 9 year old child that can steal 5k is a disaster in the making. It will soon graduate to armed robbery and kidnapping which goes hand in hand with murder.
I believe she overreacted out of love and concern for the future of her son.
