"CORRUPTION & WASTAGE: Buhari And Jonathan, At A
Glance. FACT IS FACT.

1] Jonathan sold Petrol at N87 while Buhari is selling at
average of N300 & above, yet Buhari supporters think
Jonathan was more corrupt and wasteful.

2] When Jonathan Budgeted N1bn for feeding in Aso-Rock in
2011, and N517m in 2015, APC cried wolf and now Buhari's
budget for same is N1.7billion. Yet Buharists are mute and
still think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.

3] Jonathan spent N1.4bn to service all presidential jets in
one year while Buhari spends N6bn on same in 6month yet
Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.

4] Jonathan gave more funding to education while Buhari's
2016 budget favours Ministry of information more than
education yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt/
wasteful.

5] Jonathan spent an average of N8million on each
international trip while Buhari spends an average of
N55million on each international trip, yet Buharists think
GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.

6] Jonathan created Over 5.8millon jobs in 5yrs while buhari
has sacked over 2million workers in 8months. Check Federal
Bureau of Statistics.

7] Jonathan made Nigeria's economy the best in Africa and
No 1 investment destination & quadrupled our GDP in 4yrs
while Buhari has dragged Nigeria's economy down to 14th
position in ranking in just 7months.

8] Jonathan left Naira exchange rate @ N185 to $1 but
Buhari with his Adama and Eve economics has destroyed
the Naira in just 8 months which now sells at N315 to $1.

9] It took Jonathan less than 2weeks to select his cabinet
including foreign based technocrats while it took Buhari
6months to do same. Even with indicted people and no
single economist among the 36 names.

10] Buhari claimed that subsidy was fraud (Who is
subsidizing who@) but buhari has spent N1.2trillion on fuel
subsidy in the last 5 months and still no fuel while all
Buharists have suddenly gone dumb.

11] Buhari/APC accused Jonathan of corruption but have not
been able to pin one stain on him, while Muhammadu
Buhari himself followed the crowd that entered into the
#DasukiGate.

12] Under Jonathan freedom and liberty of Nigerians was
not determined by party affiliation, but today under Buhari
his perceived enemies and political opponents are leveled
with frivolous allegations of crimes and intimidated with
either the EFCC or the DSS.

13] Buhari does not have an Honorary WAEC but bags an
illegal Honorary (Ph.D) from a university that have no PhD
student and Not approved by NUC and yet Buharists respect
his NEPA Bill more than GEJ's PhD. 14. Buhari used his
secondary school principal's recommendation letter to
become Military Head of State and again used Court Affidavit
to become President and no one reminded him that these
are the height of corruption. He Refused to declare his
assets public, suppressing the FOI and denied all his 81
election promises and stayed in the last 8 months blaming
former leaders. Jonathan was in that position, he never
complained or blamed anyone, but faced his work even
when Buhari's disgruntled brother ensured that Nigeria will
know no peace.

JUDGE FOR YOURSELF."

*THE TEN MOST CORRUPT COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD*

Britain is one of the least corrupt countries in the world, with UK public officials seen as some of the most honest anywhere, according to a comprehensive new report. The UK ranks in the top 10 nations for officials seen as least likely to take a backhander, watchdog Transparency International has said, in its annual global review of corruption.

This is four places above Britain’s position last year, and marks the first time the country has entered the top 10 in eight years, having been as low as 20th in 2010.

Britain’s higher ranking was attributed by the watchdog’s director Robert Barrington to “good rhetoric” from the government on fighting corruption, though he added that stopping the UK from being used to launder money, cleaning up politics and improving government openness were all areas which needed work.

Transparency International, a global charity with over 100 national chapters, ranked 168 countries’ corruption in the public sector on a scale of 0 to 100, with lower scores reflecting levels of corruption and higher scores being seen as very clean. It canvasses experts views’ of graft among state employees.

The 10 least corrupt:
1. Denmark
2. Finland
3. Sweden
4. New Zealand
5. Netherlands
6. Norway
7. Switzerland
8. Singapore
9. Canada
10. Germany, Luxembourg and UK (tied)

The 10 most corrupt:
1. North Korea and Somalia (tied)
2. Afghanistan
3. Sudan
4. Angola and South Sudan (tied)
5. Iraq and Libya (tied)
6. Haiti, Guinea-Bissau and Venezuela (tied)
7. Eritrea, Syria, Turkmenistan and Yemen (tied)
8. Uzbekistan
9. Burundi, Cambodia and Zimbabwe (tied)
10. Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Myanmar (tied)

Mr Barrington said: “Britain has a Prime Minster who is talking a good game on anti-corruption with plans for a global summit on it in May. Whether he delivers on that remains to be seen.”

He added there had been few major corruption scandals in the UK in 2015 with the exception of in banking, “though the public seem to have become used to these as they have become so frequent”.

The UK cleaning up its act earned a score of 81 out of a 100, putting it in joint 10th place with Luxembourg a nation until recently famed for its banking secrecy laws and Germany, where the VW scandal rocked the automotive sector and regulators watching over it.
Mr Barrington said the scandal over emissions from the VW’s diesel cars seemed not have harmed perception around corruption in the country, possibly because it was seen as straightforward fraud rather than corruption.

Denmark retained the title for having the most honest public sector in the world for a second year, with a score of 91, down from 92 last year.

Somalia and North Korea were jointly ranked as the most corrupt regimes, retaining the same spots they held last year, and each earning a score of just 8 out of 100.
Other notable entries included the US, rising one place to 16, with a score of 76, China, gaining 17 places to 83rd with a score of 36. France gained three places to 23rd, Spain moved one spot up the ranking to 36th and Italy gained eight places to 61st.

Characteristics including a free press, publicly available budget information and judiciaries which do not treat people differently depending on their wealth were shared by top-performing countries. Commonalities between corrupt countries included war, badly functioning public institutions such as police and media that is state controlled.

Corruption is “rife worldwide” according to Transparency International, which said the average score was 43 out of 100, with more than two thirds of countries scoring less than 50.

Notable movers in this year’s survey included Brazil, which dropped seven positions to 76th place after its score fell five points to 38. The country is currently embroiled in a scandal over allegations directors at giant oil company Petrobras took bribes from construction groups to award contracts and funds were also funnelled to government officials.

Rolls-Royce has been caught up in the scandal , with claims strongly denied by the British engineering group that its deals to supply Petrobras involved bribes. Read the rest of the story here:

Chai, na youths dey 'fight' cos of two politicians so....

Seems we all still think we are in election/campaign 'mood'

Instead of fighting for jona/buhari 's 'integrity/manhood' on here, y not write ideas that will make d country beta? Or beta still; just whisper a word of prayer 4 dis nation

Jona don go, he did all he could, we thank him 4 it. Buhari dey here, hin dey do all he can. Its more beneficial to pray 4 d success of the present cos d past don go 'no mata ow gud/bad' it was

Plus, all these politicians get 'shockabsorbers' o

Wen all is said & done, na d average nigerian youth remain 4 ground o.

God bless NIGERIA.
