All this tribunal buhaha is not helping this country move at the pace it ought to.
The fact that GEJ didn't contest the 2015 election should not make any one affected by political injustice not to go to court for redress.

The Election tribunal sitting in Lokoja has been moved to Abuja this morning. Security reasons were cited for the move.

Story.

The mandate died with Audu.

If it gets to the Supreme Court they will declare fresh elections.

And from there anarchy will flow in kogi.

Let it get to Supreme Court, in fact no need for tribunals anymore, straight to Supreme court.

And you think Faleke has a chance?

I laff.

These lawyers are trained alongside handling briefs in the skilled art of bearing false hope.

His lawyers are deceiving him that he has a case in order to fleece him out of more legal fees.

Which injustice?

The mandate died with Audu.

The fact that the APC concealed details of his death where even Faleke was aware shows that the acn faction wanted to capitalise on Audu's death.

There is no victim here.

Faleke never contested or won the gubernatorial ticket and so can not inherit a mandate that wasn't his.

If all the tribunals are relocating to Abuja on security grounds, it's either there's judicial malpractice going on or the whole country is not secure. Therefore Buhari should resign for not being able to ensure security in the country.

Besides the sycophants have not told faleke that he can't be a rep for Lagos state and still for kogi state.

I believe he knows the implications of lying under o

seems you are yet to realise that is over for Wada. and you also do not understand that they have achieved their key objective, peaceful swearing in of Yahaya Bello. with the tribunal sitting in lokoja, no aggrieved party was willing to disrupt the swearing in. now that the swearing in is over, they can move to Ghana if possible but I assure you that Yahaya Bello will be there till 2013.

This like almost all political and social crisis since may 29, 2015 were as a result of the stupidity of the Buhari govt.

Audu's death should have led to fresh elections but Tinubu wanted Faleke to inherit the mandate of a dead candidate who was never sworn in.

The unavoidable Shiite mess, the cancellation of the Rivers election by the APC manipulated tribunals and appeal courts as well as that of Akwa Ibom showed their foolish desperation.

And we don't need to state how Bayelsans were through the ballot box, able to resist their fraud and military invasion.

Every nonsense we see today is as a result of foolish desperation by the APC and Buhari

#KogiGovTribunal: Relocating Tribunal To Abuja Is A Grand Ploy by APC To Manipulate Judgement – Ojonugwa Adamu

What started as a rumour became reality yesterday when news reports confirmed
that the Kogi State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Lokoja has been
relocated to Abuja for further sittings.

The Tribunal will now operate from the Court of Appeal complex, Area 11, Garki –
Abuja.

According to reports, the sudden decision to relocate the Tribunal was based on the
directive of the President of the Appeal Court, Justice Zainab Bulkashua for security
reasons. Though they failed to explain the ‘security reasons’, we suspect that the All
Progressives Congress (APC) is manipulating this decision for nefarious reasons.

Same way the rumour on relocation became a reality, we as patriotic stakeholders,
must raise our voices now that rumours are rife that some of the ruling party
stalwarts are part of a plot to influence the election petition tribunals by relocating to
Abuja to reach a verdict in favour of APC.

The APC is afraid of her shadows. They have made repeated constitutional errors in
the Kogi Governorship election saga and are desperate to cover up their electoral
frauds and shenanigans. From invalid nomination of running mate to Late Prince
Audu to invalid replacement of governorship candidate, APC in Kogi enmeshed in
controversies resulting from undemocratic actions.

So far, the Tribunal has granted petitioners leave to inspect the ballot papers and
result sheets used in the elections. A bigger burden is now on the Tribunal to review
the cases before her and strive not to bring the judiciary into ridicule by delivering a
landmark judgement that will deepen democracy in Nigeria.

We as a people are not comfortable with the relocation as we see it as a ploy to
arm-twist the honourable Justices and manipulate judgement in favour of the APC.

The ‘security reasons’ on which the relocation is premised upon is mild compared
the ‘security reasons’ that will emanate from a possible manipulated judgement on
our growing democracy.

We demand further explanation to this curious relocation and re-assurances that the
honourable Justices will be fair in their hearings and judgement.

Exactly- Yahaya Bello till 2013! You have said it all. The State is in reverse gear. He has actually reversed things back so fast. In one day- security breaks down irretrievably. Just one tribunal cannot sit. Do you know how many tribunals sat in lokoja during wada's tenure? Nothing of this nature has ever been heard.
