Don't laugh alone
Many years ago when I was in Primary 2, My Math teacher gave us these math assignments:
1+1=?
2+2=?
3+3=?
4+4=?
5+5=?
6+6=?
7+7=?
8+8=?
9+9=?
10+10=?
When I went home I used my mumu common sense to provide the answers. Within 5 minutes I told my friends that we should go and play that am done with my assignments,they are shocked because to them 1+1 was easy, but 8+8 they needed to collect a bag of gravels to solve this arithmetic.
Guess what my answers were:
1+1=11
2+2=22
3+3=33
4+4=44
5+5=55
6+6=66
7+7=77
8+8=88
9+9=99
10+10=1010.
Okay on monday I rushed to submit the assignment cos I thought my answers were correct. Brethren the kind beating were madam Mrs Umoren gave to me on Monday it was as if I stole her salary,I thought she was mad,because 1+1=11 naw,2+2=22. I ran to report her to the head master brethren that was the worst mistake ever made,the stupid man gave me 13 strokes of the cane.. I dare not report myself again to my mum cos that one na die be that..
