Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed was yesterday at Obafemi Awolowo University where he delivered a lecture titled ‘Nexus between corruption and underdevelopment of Nigeria’ at the Faculty of Arts.OAU students did not spare him with questions.Many of them bombarded him with questions like.... 'Tell Buhari to probe our VC, Tell Buhari to probe our VC’. Some of them even went further to ask him more questions.One of the students stood up and asked Mr Mohammed a question.He said... “Our halls of residence are in bad shape and my colleagues are saying probe Omole (VC) and so on. It is not only at the national level that the government should concentrate its fight against corruption, it should come to universities and we welcome President Buhari’s war against corruption on OAU campus,” as the entire students present screamed and applauded him. Lai Mohammed promised the students he will meet with the VC of the school to discuss the issue of students’ union leaders who are currently serving suspension.
