So, going for NYSC come turn factor to consider when making choice for school, huh? My fellow youths have been duped by their elders, & we sit and watch them quench our thirst for greatness, innovation & excellence!!! The jungle that they have created for us must not go on...

I'm not saying that it's not okay...but good news, noo! We dserve better..the NYSC we have now is a scheme only meant to enrich a few lazy Nigerians (LIs & ZIs + corrupt NYSC staff members in the camp) who sit and wait for young graduates to come give them part of d allawi & abscond. Then the rest corpers are surchargd by any means!!!

We deserve to have an NYSC that develops made men & women ready to face life squarely...
We deserve an NYSC that stirs up the sleeping giants in us!!!
So, going for NYSC is not GOOD NEWS anymore!!! It is just another junk of old now meant to serve as sort of purgatory or limbo for young graduates!!

If NYSC must be 'good news', then it must be reformd to create opportunities for corpers, not after a year, you are out there again on your own!

They say money budgeted for each corps member is above #500k. Fine, why not redesign the corps to be a bedrock/springboard to develop entrepreneurs with good startups, innovations, young men & women that are creative and can develop wealth models werever they are serving!

All we need is redsign the camp period to be a month long or six weeks of intensive training on whatever d corps member wants to venture into (they could be guided on the best business ideas/models in their state of posting), then give them the needed facilities (loans, inputs, mentoring, etc)...& then watch how we could churn out job creators,& not job seekers!!!
