God’s appointed time is a time God has set aside to manifest his power in the life of a person or it is a time God has earmarked to do a particular thing on the earth.
As individuals, there is a set time for God to manifest his power in our lives. I read and hear people say so many things like; my friend is married, she passed WAEC or high school at just the first sitting, He has lots of money, She is working in a multinational company… and so many other irrelevant comparisons. Hey! Stop comparing yourself with your friend, colleague, or whoever. God has an appointed time for your life.
The bible said; “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV)
GOD has the clock of your life in his hands. God knows the best time to give you a man/woman to marry, lots of money to spend, children to nurture, job to do, houses to own etc. We are told that there is an appointed time for every purpose under heaven. This means each of us not only has a timeline for our lives, but on our timeline there are events God has purposed and planned for us to accomplish. God designed it with His perfect timing so it can be trusted.
It is the fool who tries to accomplish some purpose before God’s appointed time. Patience is not easy for many of us. It requires self-control and a faith in the promises of God.
