There are no inconsistencies in the bible. It is our human perception of the writeup that points out seeming çontradictions, but to the creator, His word is clear and harmonous. Bt many of such perceived inconsistencies has even been solved by some xtens.

Ofcourse brave men seized the opportunity to enslave his fellow man that's why you have churches of different denominations these days.

Belief/faith is a spiritual gift. It doesn't come by human reason. It's why people don't get saved just because they lost an argument about the non existence of God. It has to come from the heart.
