MVP's and best players are not selected based on POTENTIAL. . . . . it is based on PERFORMANCE and for me, the most of the US players did exceptionally well. I'm not saying they have become best in the world all of a sudden, but with respect to this particular tournament, they performed far better than most other players. Kaka, Robinho, Pirlo, Torres etc - didn't give very much to be thrilled about! |

Kaka might have been d best player in the brazilian team - but there's no way he deserved to be the MVP of that tourney. . . . . pls, there are players in there who played far better! Forget the stats and pay attention to the play - if its all about stats, why didn't they just dash the whole thing to Luis Fabiano!? |
