Job Summary
This position will report to Maintenance Supervisor.
The Maintenance Ammonia Operator is fully knowledgeable of Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, including how they function, operate and how to maintain.
There is also a strong working knowledge of Process Safety Management as it applies to Ammonia systems.

Duties
* Responsible for the operation, repair, and maintenance of the engine room and monitoring the operation, repair, and maintenance of the refrigeration equipment inside storage rooms, including units and dehumidifiers.
* Perform scheduled maintenance on system to maintain good operation.
* Responsible for temperatures and humidity control of all storage rooms.
* Responsible for record keeping of all maintenance and repairs performed on refrigeration equipment and temperature humidity readings.
* Problem solving and data analysis on engine room functions.

Qualifications and Requirements
* 3-5 years experience in all phases of ammonia based refrigeration servicing including: repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting
* Operator I and II Certifications with documentation
* Personnel supervision experience
* Great communication and customer service skills
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to manage time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work well within a team, including others within the company as well as outside contractors and suppliers. * Maintain a positive attitude. Communicates and shares information in order to deliver results for the team.
* Ability to make good decisions as it relates to the safe operation of the ammonia and other systems and escalates issues appropriately.

v Working closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures;

To provide long term financial strategies

Delegating book keeping to junior staff

Set goals for achieving specification and profit margin

Debt service management

Create and maintain budget to the company’s balance sheet

Prepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks.

Partner with Product Management and Purchasing Team in determining financial impact due to product cost reductions, new product roll out, etc. and prepare periodic forecasts to update management on projected results.

Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.

Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)

Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
