Can someone tell me the meaning of 'step down is'?. I was just called in school to come and collect a step down letter from the h.o.d office. I have 3.5 in my 1st semster exam, 3.01 in 2nd smester(nd1). I have 2.98 in 1st semster nd2. 2nd semster result is yet to be release. I have a missing script in 1st semster nd2.i guess that's what lower my gpa. What concern me is what 'step down' could mean. Does it mean I would be forfeit of my studentship but it shouldn't be. Because people who performed Not up to my level didn't have a cause to receive the letter. Am in ph now and I can't be in school still next weeks. Anyone with a knowledge of what 'step down' means please should be share with me. AM TERRIBLY AFRAID!

Lol, yah wrong hun. I later got to know what a step down means is to hold-on for a course on pending till the further notice. I actually have a pending course then which is now resolve to a missing script, thanks to God I was able to find the script atlas. Although I was a little bit worried but all the same I know I won't be demoted of a level coz I was in upper credit till this stupid course dropped be down. Thanks for the reply. The tread was also created in education session, I posted it in alots of a session out of missisipi (lol)
