No clear objective definition of politics but the perspective to which anybody views their political administration in a demographic setting.

Personally,

"politics is the struggle, movement, agitation of few seeking to be the ruling elites in order to gain power, legislated authority and immunity over the masses and help set a direction to which a state would attain economic growth and development"---Aaronson (2016)
