Surprisingly, Tekno didn’t make the list, he was born in 1992. That is not the topic of today. Today, we take a look at former Nigerian musicians that much was expected from when they were very young but one way or another, they didn’t become the man/woman we expected them to be.

Let’s see the artistes that made the cut.

Dammy Krane

Dammy Krane used to be compared with Wizkid talent and ability wise now he can only rant about how Wizkid stole his creative content.

Dammy has so far not lived up to his potential. It is never too late to boom though.

Phenom

Former Knighthouse rapper Phenom was highly rated as a youngster. Although he still has age on his side, the rapper has so far failed to achieve half of his potential.
On his day, Phenom still has one of the most impressive delivery in Nigerian rap.


Shaydee

EME signed Shaydee as the heir to Wizkid when he finally leaves the record label.
