I think you should contact the numbers on nysc portal for solution. That could be the fastest way to solve your ish.

Look, my friend got sent to a state she did not select. Not assumptions. She is a Batch A 2016 member, same story she has withmany of them sent to Benue. Only few of those sent to Benue selected the state. The other half a re product of forced posting.
This was also confirmed by an official, it is no assumptions.

I also wanted to pick Oyo as first choice but I couldn't because of the states, mostly northern that I found in the "first choice" category. I debated the issue with the computer operator to the point of wanting to suspend the registration but he strongly advised me against that. Eventually, I settled for Abuja and Oyo as my first and second choice respectively with the hope that my second choice would be prioritized. Interestingly, I was informed earlier today that computer will do the selection this time around and not the staffs, makIng any pre call up redeployment impossible. The only hope is a medical report.
