Lagos, abuja, ibadan, aba, benin and onitsha are the economic hub of Nigeria because they have the most bank branches in the country. Recent survey I made shows that these cities host the highest number of bank branches in Nigeria and presence of banks suggest the economic health of a particular area. |

opalu:port Harcourt seem not to have as much banks as these cities, kano and Kaduna also. |

That's your opinion, though I think your criteria for arriving at this judgement is too limited and therefore flawed. Port Harcourt for example is an unforgivable omission, considering her contributions to the national gdp and revenue. I think you should've included oil & gas, industrial capacity, agric, solid minerals as parts of your criteria for reaching your judgement, for the sake of balance. |

The reasons are simply because they have 1.Population. 2. Minerals and natural resources 3.Human/able personnels 4. Historical background 5. Infrastructures i.e. hospitals, schools, networked roads 6. Average/improving education And lastly, Good economy base |
