How about those soap operas on TV, How many of you remember "Tales by Moon Light"? How many of you still Remember " Aye Akamara" ? The Abijas , Oyinboyins , Fadeyi Oloro , Ogunjimi and the rest of them.Make una remind me of some abeg.

they really toned down Sesame Street of nowadays. I used to catch it occasionally.

Mr Snuffalophagous came out into the open

The hustling guy with the trench coat- gone

The painter guy and weird lady- vanished

Big bird is brighter and yellower

New characters like Zoe and bear



and there are so many competing shows- all good mind you.

That book on the first post brought a sharp memory of those days in School ooo,

Can anybody remember the program RENTAGHOST, Twas one of my favorites on NTA 2 channel 5 after school hours during children's belt hours, I think it was Wednesdays or so by 6pm, cant really remember sef.

First Aid in English book

Bazooka Chewing Gum

Using a stone to Break open the seeds from the "fruit" tree & eating the seeds

Cooking on top of a lantern in boarding house

Being electrocuted with a boiling ring at least once in boarding house

Lapping your friends in the bus

Having Malaria & then having to have Nivaquine injection which makes you itch like crazy

Being sent on errands to grind pepper or beans with your mum shouting at you to remember to tell the elero to wash the grinder very well before putting your pepper or beans through the grinder.

Buying sweets from the mallam at the bottom of the street etc
