This and many more gory stories are what you get from most of our so called "health centres" in tertiary institutions...
Unequipped clinics. Some fellows will connived and steal funds that would have been used to equip the centres...

Allow him.......what those students are doing will protect future lives, they are fighting for those that will come even long after they have graduated.this move alone will make other students to ensure their own institutions are fully equipped.

D boy was involved in a motor accident, he was rushed to d hospital still alive, bt d nurses refused to attend to him unless they pay 5thousand naira as deposit, no amount of begging could change dia minds n d boy gave up d ghost rite in dia eyes n dt was d end of nursing for my frd.

"Another colleague of the victim, Ibraheem Emmanuel, said: “No
drug is given by the school medical (you have to go and buy).
“You need to see the stress that was passed through. We were
the ones that went to get injections, drugs, in fact drip that were
given to Dazan Charity”.

This is so True, my niece was admitted on monday everything that was used wasn't available at the health centre. My younger brother pass through hell from the back and forth of the staff before he could finally get everything needed at a pharmacy around Onipanu. angry

The medical is a waste and tried doing the same to me a long time back because I wasn't with my medical card until when they saw I became worse as minutes went by

Very sweet brilliant girl.
I do call her "Iya ni Isreali" because once a while, you would see her in white sutanna within the premises, never shy of her faith

she laughs hard at every comment i pass, not because they are that funny, but because her heart is pure and positive.
I miss you Dazan, RIP

Campus medical centres in Nigeria are scams and you go there at your own peril. Students must stop wasting their time depending on school authorities in Nigeria, because majority of them are incomperent administrators. The nonsense they do in Nigeria they don't try when they get the same jobs in the UK, US and other developed countries, because they will be sacked if they fail in their duties. Many of them are crooks and rogues collecting salaries for nothing. And they are irresponsible, because the government is irresponsible with irresponsible ministers and irresponsible administrators. A government that makes more noise than sense.
