I dont know about othet European countries, but Nurses are now been retained in the UK after their studies, you just have to pass a few exams, am not in that line of work, but I know a few members in my church who did a series of exams and are now waiting to be registered..

The government changed the law regarding nurses from non EU countries due to shortage and inability to fill vacancies with EU nurses..

Why won't they stay back when a Nurse working through an agency can make nothing less than £27 an hour, the highly skilled specialist can collect up to £35/40HR as agency staff.. see pictures below..

You know I heard something like that late last year but i felt it was not true because of how strict UK government was in the past as regards to staying back after studies. That is a great development because I will like to live and work in UK someday. Thanks for this piece.

Bros no reason am. Nigeria has no future. The biggest move I ever made in my life was moving to Germany after my Nysc. It has really proved it's worth.

I am also a Nurse and would want to know what being a nurse in Germany is like.. An ingenuous answer would be appreciated..

So Nigerians are only a mere 8,700 out of 283,532 Illegals in the EU, or some [size=14pt]0.03%[/size] (Negligible) of illegal Migrants, and these people will not let us hear word? That is even commendable, considering the fact that 2.5% of the entire world is Nigerian, and 1 in every 4.5 Sub Saharan African is Nigerian.

I am sure there are far more Nigerian professionals in Europe than 8,700 people, contributing meaningfully to the European economy and pool of talents... Hundreds of Nigerian doctors and Engineers in the UK come to mind.....
