The starter of this thread has made the same exact mistake that the author of the article made. How can you call this picture stock-fish?
What kind Nigerian or African person doesn't know the difference between stock fish and smoked fish? Na wa for you. Even Oyibo ma sabi the difference sef. That is like somebody saying that Akara is the same thing as moi-moi because both are made from beans.

What is the big deal about the man buying fish? All these comments about the man cannot buy fish. That it must be only the woman or the wife's job to buy the fish. That is just some pure sexist bull-crap. This is 2016 my people. We are not living in the stone ages or medieval times when the man did all the hunting and the woman cooked and took care of the house. A man can also buy the food and cook also. There is nothing wrong with that. It is not just the woman's job only to buy food or cook for the house all the time.

With the exception of the African continent, in the rest of the world, the overwhelming majority of cooks and chefs are men. African man with his sexist attitude sef. Did you know that on Valentine Day, one of the most romantic things that a man can do for his woman is not only to buy the food for her but to even surprise her by cooking for her? That is a very big romantic surprise for the woman. Buying flowers is no surprise. Buying candies is nothing new. Cooking for your woman, especially if the woman has been working very hard and doing all the house work too, is one of the most romantic things that you can ever do to surprise her. But the typical African man just wants the woman to cook all the food, clean the house for him and clean the dishes all the time and at the end of the day, just lay down there and service him with sex too. And when him don finish sex, him go just roll over and fall straight asleep. And he thinks that this is Valentine. Abi, No be so? WRONG way to go man! You gotta change your game up people. Believe that.
