No need getting unnecessarily emotional here. I am not against her going to court, I only responded to someone who called her a super woman. The court is there to protect the weak so, no big deal in anybody going there to seek redress.
We thank God

She is within her right. In fact the Vc's of the five universities who were unjustly removed from office before the expiration of their tenures should follow suit. The APC madhouse need to be forcefully fed the tenets of Democracy down their Fulani-Yoruoid throats

Madam, please waste part of your loot in paying rich SANs. In the next 2 years I guarantee you'd have chowed halfway into your loot.

When you are done, APC will sue you for all the baseless comments you made about their party.

Is there any part of your contract paper that states you cannot be fired at will?

As long as you are an employee, you are at the mercy of your employer in Nigeria, until the Labour Law is changed.

For now, you are wasting your scarce resources on a futile attempt.
If this happens in the private sector would you say this?

Lawyers know how to LITIGATE these tyrants. And it's very embarrassing for any Government to dishonour Court Orders in a Constitutional Democracy.
I see...so Justice Salami case was not embarrassing to GEJ.

Very good. Assert your right as a Nigerian. Nigeria is not Buhari's private property.

She should thank her God that EFCC has not opened her alleged involvement in the Kerosene saga. Going to touch the tip of lion's tail is a deadly adventure one may not live to tell story.

Why won't she go to court when the judiciary is pdp controlled? Buhari should take the bull by the horn or he will be very so sorry cos it will be too late before he can remedy the situation.

Buhari sacked Vera Ifudu in 1984, & she won her day in the courts.
Buhari has also sacked 12 Fed VCs without following due process. And the man has admitted that the Judiciary is his headache, as with all dictators. Marilyn has a good case that pupil lawyers can win.

Marilyn Ogar is a nobody, if she like make she run her mouth go supreme court, Fed govt go probe for her for unlawful arrest of innocent citizens and insightful comments on Media.
Words for her,(make she just go invest d moni wey she don make, for business inoda to create employment, atleast she shud be useful to her nation some how).

You are gravely mistaken. Google this case, Bernard Longe vs First Bank.

I'll give you a brief background. He was sacked as MD of First Bank in 2002 by the board. He challenged his sack all the way to thr Supreme court after loosing at the lower courts. After 8 years, the Supreme court ruled in his favour. I am definite he was compensated to the tune of nearly a billion naira.

Employees have rights which when trampled upon by employers can be enforced by the courts.

Huffington:
Emperor Dull@rdinho sacked her for doing her job in siding the sitting president. Same way Magu and Daura will be kicked out if APC loses in 2019.
She should dance to the music. Ribadu's demotion and disgrace should have taught her a lesson never to be used as pawn by a sitting President.
Next is Magu and his Baba whom PDP are patiently waiting to destroy when they take back power.
Lesson: What goes around, comes around.

How many employees are of Longe's status and can afford such lengthy litigation?

There has been a case of Oceanic Bank Ex-Staff against Ecobank in court since 2010 and the Judge as not even heard the plea talkless of the matter nearing completion.

The Labour Law needs to be reviewed. It is too skewed towards the employer, just like the Tenancy law that is too skewed towards the tenant..

You know the interesting thing about the bolded, Chief F.R.A WILLIAMS who represented Mr. Longe at the inception of the case, didn't charge Mr. Longe a dime. He ("Timi the Law" ) in his usual manner, just wanted to 'test' the law, unfortunately he died 3 years into the suit. So sometimes it's not necessarily about your status or how much you have at your disposal.

Is the new Lagos State Tenancy Law really skewed in favor of the tenant? Not sure if it's even the law that is the problem. It is the interpreters of the law I have an issue with, when it comes to how speedily justice can be dispensed. Sometimes the year before there were new magistrate court rules that cases couldn't be adjourned more than 2 weeks apart and heard more than 4 times, which has not worked.
