Mr Egwu is only a minister because it massages his over bloated ego, gives him access to the perennial national cake and also fulfils the 'federal character' ideology of the PDP. His actions or in-action is just a testament to his priorities as a minister.

Mr sam egwu is an unavoidable catastrophic jeopardiser who vehemently resists the continuum of a desirable acedemics utopia by frustrating the indispensable tenets of academic growth and development.it is quite despicable to learn dat mr egwu lavished 120million on a birthday bash at d expense of our academic excellence.this country has never been blessed with gud leaders.we need prayers.

Can u imagine that man directly/indirectly he is debasing himself in a manner none can comprehend.

@ declique, u are naturally irresponsible by saying that "shouldn't he celebrate his birthday". For Godsake, this man is in charge of a sector which it's major branch is in shambles(strike). Does he have to rub it on our face(nigerians) by throwing a lavish party and still broadcasted on a national television. This amounts to gross misconduct and misrepresentation, and for that am calling for his head(resignation). For other officials that attended, i can only say that it's unfortunate for our country and it's future with these men and women as our leaders and decision makers. I rest.
