A Federal High Court Justice Buba Inbrahim in Lagos on Friday authorised the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to seize some assets belonging to a former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo.



The judge ordered the anti corruption agency to take possession of the concerned assets pending when Tompolo will make himself available to answer charges of N45.9bn fraud preferred against him and nine others.

The judge said if Tompolo failed to appear within three months of the order, the Federal Government may proceed to auction the assets and other properties.

The Problem with many Nigerians is "ATTITUDE". We need to CHANGE our attitude instead of blaming the Government for putting the right peg in the right hole.
How can we be supportive of crimes in the name of brotherhood?!
Tompolo should be arrested, tried and if found guilty..... should be "honorably" JAILED!!!

I don't know how well his assets are hidden but I don't know if it is possible.

some set of people are just known for criminality. in the course of this war against corruption, different people from different region have been docked at one time or the other while some people have blame their sons for doing that which is wrong, certain set of people have continue to queue behind criminals, I am beginning to loose respect for both their youths and the elders as well. how do we get the nation back to its track if we continue like this?

I hope they found his Swiss bank account as well
