Attention-seeking at its highest. If he's suing someone for this then what would Bisi Alimi who receives death threats on the daily do? His own is somehow justifiable - he's attacked for his strong political opinion. Bisi is threatened daily for the way he was born.

If I was the one being sued, I will counter sue for unnecessary harassment, lawyer fees and time wasted appearing in court.

omojuwa is a coward that can't take his own medicine. ..when he was insulting Jonathan and cussing out senate Ben Bruce on twitter was he sued? idiot somebody...Twitter orubebe suing someone. .guess he can't take anymore. .. buhari should please make him his special adviser on picking nose maybe that would calm him down..

Omojuwa released names and numbers of private individuals on social media without their consent, the aim was to have them killed because of political differences.

I support mr omojuwa 100% and for people saying its a bad idea i guess they've never found themselves in his shoes or what he faces as a blogger. Death threat and this is done by a person that has been previously arraign and tried for a murder case before? If Na me I go just ask 1billion naira b'cos am sure they still have enough left from the ones given to them by OGA JONA. I could see some people claiming he has been insulting and defaming a lot of politicians and individual , if the group of people and politicians defamed find it offending why haven't they sued the said omojuwa?

And has omojuwa ever threatened someone with death?

As a follower of Omojuwa on Twitter, in as much as i dont like his ways of going about some political issues and his direct approach at attacking the person of some important political bigwigs in the country, I will commend him for taking this bold step in commencing legal proceedings against the threat to his life.

In no sane society would you come out to issue death threat to a person either by social media or whichever means and expect the person threatened to take it with a pinch of salt and write it off as a mere threat. A mere threat that has caused the death of thousands who would have been alive if they had taken actions against their tormentors. The bible even says "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh". For someone to openly threaten you and attack your character is always a pre conceived thought that will materialise if the so called person have the means or way to make it happen.

As i have always said on this forum, no politician in Nigeria is not woth your life or blood because they are all Irresponsible and only there because of what they stand to gain from the so called national cake and leave when they have acquired enough. What really does Omojuwa stand for? is it the unity and progress of Nigeria or to see a political party disgraced or an individual ridicled because this has totally shifted from one Nigeria to APC vs PDP and Buhari vs Jonathan.

If eventually this threat is carried out and he is killed i can assure you the only remembrance he(Omojuwa) will enjoy is a yearly hashtag of #RIPOmojuwa on twitter and his thousands of followers who enjoy his cyber bullying will still go home to sleep with their spouses at night and forget he ever existed.

Mr camal, I can understand your point of views, but I want you to realize that's the work of bloggers, journalists, either investigative or otherwise to expose whatever individual or group of people doing bad. About omojuwa mentioning names on his blog that's what the mordern day blogging ethics entails, blog should be the voice for the voiceless and the ears and eyes for people without one.

Have you ever wonder why those people he exposes or mentions their names has never for once sued him?
Answer: because they are guilty as hell

Same thing goes for Sahara reporters they can't sue them cos they follow the rule and ethics of journalism and this politicians can't sue for defamation cos they are guilty as hell and their hands are filled up with dirts. I guess if someone threatens you with death you go just forget am and sweep it under the carpet.
