Company Description

Our client is a new Real Estate Development Company in Nigeria; but part of a Multi Billion Naira Group of companies. Due to expansion, they are currently looking to hire smart, young, enthusiastic and smart fresh graduates that are ready to learn and grow within the ranks in the organization.


Architect role
Apart from other assignments ,this fresh graduate would work with an in house team of business development staff to draft proposals to various organizations for residential estate development,plaza development etc .

Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily.

Working closely with a team of other professionals such as Business development managers &executives ,building service engineers, construction managers, quantity
surveyors and architectural technologists
Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts
Choosing the materials to be used and specifying the requirements for the project
Making sure the project is running according to schedule and budget
Playing a part in the project and Team management
Working around constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget
Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications

Required skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Willingness to learn
High levels of creativity, imagination and vision
A keen interest in the built environment, real estate industry and the dedication to see projects to their conclusion
Willingness to work long hours, under time and budget pressure
Excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD)
A keen eye for the detail of specific tasks, combined with an understanding of how such specifics fit in with the project as a whole
Organisational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability
Minimum of 0-2 years experience in Marketing or Sales
NYSC discharge/exemption certificate
Bachelors Degree in Architecture (Masters in Architecture an advantage)
