You find also that the same debt that she said she cleared, is what we are again almost back into. In addition to that, debt is being aquired at rates which even a standard six person as Minister of Finance should not accept.

Why would you borrow to fund government activities at 12 to 15 per cent? How could you be Minister of Finance at a time that your President is going to China as President Jonathan did about 18 months ago or so to borrow $1.5billion from the Chinese for transport and other infrastructural development, and simultaneously on the same trip to China, your Central Bank Governor on the trip was asked, “what are you doing in China,” and he said he was looking for ways to invest the CBN’s foreign reserves.

How could you have a Finance Minister and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy who cannot put the two together?

How could you have a Finance Minister who, during the fuel subsidy upheaval of early 2012, did not know the level of rot in the subsidy business? She is not just the Finance Minister, but also the coordinating Minister of the Economy!

All these jokers that want us to believe their hero was one kind economic genius. Jonathan was just at the right place at the right time but he decided to misuse the opportunity.

Fact of the matter is no one is happy with this situation but I'll say it again I'm glad it isn't Jonathan ruling the country at this time. When there was abundance, no major projects were competed. Our debt rose, everyone was being owed. When oil prices were double what they are now we were borrowing to pay salaries under Mr hero. God knows what will be happening now if they were in power

GEJ and Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala had a windfall of Crude Oil selling at over $100 a barrel. After six years, our reserves reduced and our foreign debts increased. Yet you guys call Okonjo a success.

In less than a year, selling crude at less than $40 a barrel, you guys are already calling this government a failure.

Is that not double standards. Judge Buhari after his term. Not after few months.

At least we do not have Okonjo Iweala to sign Nigerian funds to Santa Dazuki.

Thread dead on arrival. The blame goddess trying to prove that the dullard is parading an excellent economic team.

Stupidity is when 1$ is sliding to N500 and nothing is being done about it, no economic plan, policy or direction and YOU are looking for Okonjo to compare with Adeosun.

Mind U both Madams are never comparable both in paper qualifications, previous work experience, international recognition or self esteem. One is a local administrator the other is a world acclaimed boss.

Deal with it...fuel cue is surfacing again with N120/L in some cities...barely 1month after the longest fuel crisis (3 months of N400/L) was overseen by your personal lord and saviour.

This government lacks an economist...take it or leave it.

When you guys have to add obvious lies to your defence them we know you guys really don't have anything to say. Under whosw administration were telecom companies shutting down because of fuel scarcity?? When had you ever heard that before then or after? Banks were announcing early closures, radio stations were announcing closures. The fuel scarcity during Buahri's administration was because of money owed to marketers that was eventually paid of. Money that had been owed for almost a year. Then if you bought petrol then for N400/ltr, then I'm sorry you let them use your head. Highest I paid was N200/ltr once and that was black market.

Then smart one, answer a simple question without regurgitating what your superiors told you to say, why is our naira losing value?? Please answer intelligently because it seems you guys just talk without knowing what's going on around the world.

The wailers wont get people in the know to wail how they are wailing...Buhari and his economic team isn't the cause of Nigeria's economic problem, they are just trying hard to salvage it the same way Ngozi tried to no avail. I hope with better management of finances we will come out of this mess.

I have not blamed Jonathan for anything, but I blame the Nigerians who didn't care how the country was doing till Buhari came in, hence the hatred for Buhari made them patriots overnight.

Nigerian bank announces early closing due to fuel crisis

One of Nigeria’s biggest banks on
Monday announced it was shutting
branches early due to a lack of fuel,
in the latest sign of shortages
hitting businesses.
“The current shortage of petroleum
products in the country has limited
our ability to supply diesel to all
our branches in order to continue
normal branch operations,” GT
Bank said in a statement on
Twitter.
“Due to this we unavoidably have to
close our branches nationwide at

If you buy sachet water at its current price, Buhari is not your problem but you are a f00l.

Meat sellers are complaining about dollar can you make the connection? The grazing fields in the north and transportation costs to send it down remains the same yet the price is soaring. Nigerians preach change but they detest change, every Nigerian is a racketeer looking for whom to exploit.
