Ex-Miss New Jersey Cara McCollum, and a former Miss America contestant had a terrible accident when her Mustang veered off Route 55 in Pittsgrove Township and struck a tree, then spun again and hit two more trees before ending up in an embankment. According to the police report, she was not having her seat belt on and must have been driving very fast.
