The west keeps complaining about China's economic in road to Africa as being exploitative even though African countries haven't had it this good since China arrived the continent.

The Chinnese offered a far more better plan the all European countries combined since the onsett of the African trade in the 15th century.

The West complains because they know they can't match China's deal offer. If anything, the advent of China as an equal business partner with African nations has bolstered raw commodity prices.

In typical western styled hypocrisy, the US and Europe see nothing wrong in dealing directly with China. China remains crucial to the west as a trade partner but when it comes to African-China trade relations the west has the audacity to claim that it is disastrous and exploitative to African countries, something the west has been doing for over 500 years without a single remorse.

The APC villains simply sold us back to slavery.

one thing I knw, JONADAFFT was in China, with his fat wife, to eat with the president of China. we saw the pics, we knew what he went for...it was a loan for the rail project.

The Goodluck Administration was leading in providing direct investments incentives to China.

With your JP Morgan puppet expect all that to end.

The west will only offer Buhari their useless dollars in loans which the likes of Tinubu will help funnel back to a designated CIA controlled account.

Obasanjo the traitor and fool of the west cancelled a Chinnese deal for railway construction after washington told him to do so.

Goodluck renegotiated the deal which has already commenced but you can bet your last dime that Buhari will cancel it just as he did the Lagos Urban rail signed by Jakande.

Now you know why the baboon of Otta took to carrying broom- he and the likes of Soyinka are both political and intellectual hit men doing the bidding of the west.

Obasanjo asked Jonathan to retrace the diversification of our foriegn reserves from dollars to BRIC currencies.

The direct investments are hinged on commodity exchange with Nigeria such as crude and other mineral resources.

This is how China is deliberately by passing the dollar as a means of trade and investment in Africa.

The West thus had only one option which was to cripple prices of commodities such as oil in order to make Chinnese investments in this form less economically.

The case of cancellation of Power plants by the Yaradua administration in preference to Anglo-American firms has so far deterred China from investing in our energy sector. If anything China has gained more in our epileptic power state by importing cheaper household generators.

The west will rather you starve than see you progress with an arch economical enemy.

No terms or conditions? No payment made? I know that even in Freetown there are no free lunches. Why are we even having this discussion, show us where that direct investment was cancelled by PMB.
Thanks for d free lecture though.

Do you understand the difference between direct investment package and a loan package?

The Chinese were set to start BOT operations in Nigeria concentrating on infrastructure like ports , roads, rails and airports which they would fund and operate without costing your boko govt a dime.

The expansion work at the Nnamdi Axikiwe Airport is an example of this type of agreement

but trust lazy corrupt abok1 who wants to collect cash and stash away without doing a single thing

And would they do that just for the benefit of mankind? Would they not make profits after investing? Which kind of person or country would think of just throwing $60bn away without gaining more than that?

You didn't know the full details of the deal yet you're giving a straight-up conclusion that he rejected the deal jez cos he..............

I have had to look at it again, in fairness, maybe I do not fully understand it. My poor parents paid for me to study the much harder course that requires differential equations, if I fail in that area, only then can you say I wasted their money. But the real issue if for you to help me ask your brother to show us where PMB cancelled the said direct investment or you can help him.

Foreign Direct Investment - FDI

What is a 'Foreign Direct Investment - FDI'

A foreign direct investment (FDI) is an investment made by a company or entity based in one country, into a company or entity based in another country. Foreign direct investments differ substantially from indirect investments such as portfolio flows, wherein overseas institutions invest in equities listed on a nation's stock exchange. Entities making direct investments typically have a significant degree of influence and control over the company into which the investment is made. Open economies with skilled workforces and good growth prospects tend to attract larger amounts of foreign direct investment than closed, highly regulated economies.

BREAKING DOWN 'Foreign Direct Investment - FDI'

The investing company may make its overseas investment in a number of ways - either by setting up a subsidiary or associate company in the foreign country, by acquiring shares of an overseas company, or through a merger or joint venture.

The accepted threshold for a foreign direct investment relationship, as defined by the OECD, is 10%. That is, the foreign investor must own at least 10% or more of the voting stock or ordinary shares of the investee company.

An example of foreign direct investment would be an American company taking a majority stake in a company in China. Another example would be a Canadian company setting up a joint venture to develop a mineral deposit in Chile.

Typical zombie.

I made this thread about 2 mths ago and you were against any deal with China but today you are singing the Chinese anthem while flying their red flag all because your confused boko king has gone cap in hand begging China to come back and invest in Nigeria after he chased them away thinking Obama will print dollars for him.

The only change about you educated illiterates is your easily formatable and malleable brains.
