Your original score may be 144. Anyways nothing is impossible to him that believe. Most schools use 180 as cut off. So go and smash d PUME

my school cut-off for jamb is usually 180. But if you really want optometry, den u really av to prove urself in post-utme exam. If you are really good, diaris hope

my guy, it is not all about gaining admission into a university that matters! why not check a polytechnic first!
that was how i nearly killed my future because i wanted to secure admission into uniben. i wrote jamb five times and passed but uniben post ume was the devil.
after sitting at home fustrated before uniben gave me employment under junior staff with my waec result.. so with that i bought part time form and they gave me computer science. it was during my interview for uniben job i realized that bsc and hnd are equal. please do the right thing brother. I felt disappointed. my friend who is an hnd holder was given level seven and those with bsc was also given level seven
but i go no bsc or hnd. So they droped me at level three with my waec

Bro no need to feel bad, put in for another jamb and b more determined u'll definitely make it.

Back in the days I wrote jamb 5 times, I repeat 5 times, and my lowest score was 214, yet didn't had admission.

Why wouldn't score as low as 188 in jamb when nairaland was your first priority even a month to your exam...u can start preparing from today till next year i bet you, you will score not less 300.. if you really felt bad and wish to study optometry

thanks boss... that's just the simple problem most university applicants face, they think failing jamb signifies the end of their dreams of been a university graduate. I can't stop thanking God for making me pass through a polytechnic, i mean when I put the poly and uni experiences side by side I just smile and say, it was worth it.

Why are jambites excited about the addition of 40 marks for everyone even if it is true. If it is true, it doesn't change anything...the average score required to gain admission will also go up.

It only calls for celebration if it is meant for selected few.

SORRY TO SAY THIS,BRO, BUT LEARN TO STUDY HARDER IF U REALLY ARE TIRED OF LOW MARKS.
WITH THAT POINT, YOU WILL BE INVITED FOR POST UTME IN MOST UNIVERSITIES. TRY AND USE THAT OPPORTUNITY TO OFFSET YOUR LOW JAMB SCORE. ALL THE BEST

I assume the general cut off mark is 180, if true then you might still be called for post UME of the school and if not why not register for their remedial programme
