I was expecting the most vocal Nigerian senator on Twitter, Ben Murray-Bruce to speak on the political sex scandal of the abduction and rape of 14 year old Rita Ese Oruru who is from his home state of Bayelsa, but he is silent!

This is a national issue affecting his state and the rest of Nigeria.
Is it because he is too ashamed that this happened under his nose whilst he was busy ranting on Twitter?
Or because, his buddy, Emir of Kano, Sanusi is involved?
Another girl from the south has been found held captive as a sex slave for years in the palace of the Sultan of Sokoto. I suspect that these girls were kidnapped by agents of these Northern Muslim traditional rulers who prefer to have sex with very young virgins and prefer young virgins from the south-south and south east of Nigeria.

I suspect that this has been going on for years, but the public was ignorant of it.

This is what "Yellow" and his accomplices used to kidnap Ese Oruru and took her to Kano and they reported directly to their masters who immediately converted the 14 year old girl to Islam and took her to their grand master, the Emir of Kano, who examined the product and was not impressed and ordered them to return her to Bayelsa. You alleged Ben Bruce said nothing, you were shown a link as to his fight for the girls release, now you're debating if Ese is Delta or Bayelsa.
You really should look for something meaningful to do.

Am not a fan of Ben Murray Bruce,but I think its unfair to say that the man was silent on the Ese abduction. I remember that he(bruce) came online to state that he wasn't around and had no access to the internet but immediately he read about it,he put a personal call to Emir Sanusi Lamido to get the girl out. He also threatened the IG,Arase that he would report him to Human Right Commission for complacency. That was when Arase jumped to his feet to secure the kid's release which they were trying to sweep under the carpet. Sanusi now had to comply when such calls from a personal friend like bruce came in.

To all intents and purposes he has played an active and important role in this disgusting saga. It is not the end and other influential persons, dignitaries and politicians ought to weigh in as well.
