It was all glitz and glamour last Sunday as over 15 contestants from different countries converge in Benin ,Edo state to contend for the ultimate crown - Queen Africa International.

The star-studded event which had Hon. Ejiro Okphiwo as the Chief Judge saw the emergence of ‎Benedicta Oti Usiahon who represented South Africa as the winner of the first ever contest.

The Edo state born model turned beau‎ty queen has featured in several high profile contests like Face of Elegant,  Face of Edo 2015, World Next top model in Lebanon, Face of Delta, Most Beautiful Girl In Abuja and finally Queen Africa International.

Ex- beauty queen and CEO Christabel Iwuala expressed satisfaction over the overall performance of the contestants and the staging of the maiden edition. She also sympathises with her former manager Alex Nwankwo was could not make the event as a celebrity judge because of his unfortunate accident in Abuja.
