Saturday 20th of February proved to be a day worthy of its hype as Allen Avenue axis, Ikeja, was practically shut down. Face of Trek Africa Beauty Pageant (FOTA2016) in Partnership with Ghana Government, has been making waves since its announcement a couple of months back, from Outings to Auditions, the Organizers of the pageant keep setting a new standard in the world of pageantry. Every manner of people were present at the audition, apart from the variety of contestants; tall, pretty, angelic, etc. there were also males of all stratification who trooped in to give their eyes a feast especially commuters plying the Allen route. The event which started a bit late proved to be worth the delay as the celebrity Judges, Ambassador D’Bling, Richmond Simeon and Award winning Artist Manager Dupe Noma displayed top notch professionalism in discharging their duties. Celebrity events manager Temidayo Yusuf, Chairlady of Purples Events and also Celebrity photographer Paparrazi were both present to make the girls feel at home. According to Mr Oki Samson, the C.E.O of McKinggs Media Productions, organizers of the programme made it known that only 15 girls out of the 45 Girls that Registered from Lagos, 5 girls from Republic of Benin, 2 girls from Ogun state, 2 girls from Imo state and 1 girl from Ekiti state would make it to the camp i.e the total of 25girls are expected for Camp. The criteria for selecting the candidates depends on a lot of factors as the Judges and the events coordinators intend to set a new standard in the world of modeling. Meanwhile the FOTA2016 will be Officially Hosted by Award winning Actress, Amanda Ebeye and KBaba of Wazobia Fm(Love Doctor). Camp Opens Monday 4TH-9TH April.
