Are we Nigerians being factual and even reason out-of-the-box at all?? lets look at it hollistically, This man has greatly reduced unemployment rate in Nigeira by nothing less than 15%...Imagine, he single handedly delivered over 6000 unit of houses in less than 4years. A feat no serving governement has been able to achieve in 2tearms(8years). Think about those who immensey benefitted both directly and indirectly from his initiatives...Imagine those who were/are employed directly or indirectly starting from food vendors in the site, labourers, carpenters, bricklayers, pop ppl etc.... This cute handsome looking youngman redefined real estate business in Nigeria. infact, he makes houses available to the commoners (masses) as at very affordable price in eye-brow area of lagos and Nigeira at large.

The questions we failed to ask are;
1 Are those site workers meant to pass the night in a construction site??
2. Even though, contractors or Engr in charge of the project failed to pay thier wages as at when due, was that a sufficient excuse for them to pass the night in an ongoing construction site??
3. What genuine reason(s) could a family have had to take up shelter in a construction site?

These are some of the questions that need an urgent answer...its just unfortunate that it's this handsome young man and the name of the company he works hard to build thats about to be brought into disreput...May the good lord intervene in his ordeal according to his intention because i wouldn't want to join myopic set of people who thinks he used those unfortunate people in the collapsed building for rituals. May the good lord forgive us all....Ameen
All you said don't make sense..He didnt take health safety and welfare of workers and the public serious. He didn't do all that was reasonable to avoid this accident which was preventable and avoidable considering the fact that they where warned not to go ahead with the construction because the area wasn't meant for a 5 storey building, the site was then sealed and the company went ahead and unlawfully continued with the construction and then we had such incidents that resulted in 30 fatalities and many others injured.

That is what you get when play negligent to your health safety environment and welfare responsibility as an employer. The management of lekki gardens should be the ones praying for Gods forgiveness and nobody.

They should face the law and be made to pay every compensation and medical bills due to the victim of the accidents. At least other organizations would learn from this. I expect that more organizations who neglect health, safety environment an welfare be made to face the law.

As an employer you have three reasons for you to consider HSE which are Moral, Legal and Economic reasons. Lekki gardens have failed legally and morally and should face the law, which would lead to them failing economically.

Neglect HSE invite ACCIDENT.

Let me repeat what I has said in my favorite thread on Richard Nyong and his wahala
...

"This is Lekki Paradise opposite Northgate Estate along Chevron Drive, Aug 2015. At a point I saw roofing, next thing the roof was gone and and a floor appeared. Right now there are two extra floors on that building making it a 5 storey building. There are about 5 or more structures of this kind in that estate. Death traps waiting to kill innocent people while someone and his cohorts continue to "enjoy life".
Is it fair that Richard Nyong will endanger people's life and turn the other way and live his life as though he did no wrong? Its unfair that's why I believe that the law should have its course and keep him .... maybe behind bars?

...if you look closely, you'll identify the parapet wall for roofing where the extra floor appeared. will you live in a 3 storey building converted to a 5 storey building on a sand filled soil?"
