My elder brother sent me a Motorola Android phone, he has almost 200 contacts in the phone which I want to to delete all, my problem is that the phone can't delete multiple contacts at once

Is there any app that can do it for me?

none of the 2 methods worked, I downloaded the app but it couldn't access my phone contacts

The first method may wipe all the contacts which is not what I want because my own contacts is also there, so I just want to select the ones I want to delete

Ok I did not understand you well. I thought you wanted to delete all of them, then start afresh.

Ok follow the simple procedure:

Phone, Contacts, Menu, Delete, (Tick all the ones you want to delete) , Delete

the phone doesn't have where to tick that's my problem, unless I delete it one by one which is difficult because the contact to delete is up to 200
