After years of doing desktop programming, I wanted to learn web development on my own but I didn't know how to really go about it. I followed the order HTML, CCSS, JavaScript but I felt wasn't making progress, didn't know how deep I should go. I need direction. Until saw a thread on NL , someone mentioned http://freecodecamp.com. I checked it out... freecodecamp gave me what I needed. Their projects aren't petty. I believe there are a lot of aspiring developers out there who need direction on how to learn web development.
